  1. No vacation for us. :-( We run our own small business and have always been so busy so had a hard time getting away. Things are much slower these days...my new saying is - "When we had the money, we didn't have the time. Now we have the time, but not the money." *sigh*
    Oh well, that's life.

  2. Yep, I already had my very first one in my vintage '69 Shasta with some farmgirls and SOTF, right here at Riverside State Park in Spokane WA, on Farm Chicks weekend. Another meet with a few of the same gals in Elk River, Idaho is coming up this weekend and then another fantastic one...Farmgirls on the Loose...the Wild West gals, right after that in Orofino, Idaho! It is a very busy but super fun summer!

  3. A few years ago we would go to Gulf Shores, Alabama for a week enjoying the sun and ocean. But no vacation this year because my husband started a new job (for which we are very grateful). So we plan to do several weekend trips to different places around us in Texas instead.

  5. I truly wanted to make this trip, but 4,000 miles divided by 35 miles per gallon at $3.50 a gallon.... Well just couldn't justify it with the vet bills we have had. So I will try for a "Staycation" and be glad all my horses are healthy now!

I am adding a prize to the list, hope you like it.

  6. The only "vacation" we will get to take this year, is camping not far from home. What can I say. We have a large family, and finances typically don't allow for it. Even so, I am still living my life to the fullest, as much as possible.

  7. I wish I was taking a vacation! But I am going to try and sneak up to my family cabin on Minneosta's north shore in Grand Marais. I guess you could call that a vacation!
